Kayak and Bannerman Castle Private Tour

Let us take you for a kayak ride on the Hudson and explore the mysterious Bannerman Island!

Your group will explore the historic Hudson River out of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with a guided kayak tour that leads us to Bannerman’s Island. There’s no better way to experience the Hudson River.

Once we arrive at Pollepel Island (it’s official name), known as “a tiny jewel in the setting of the Hudson Highlands,” we’ll enjoy a walking tour of Bannerman Castle with a historian who will show us the remains of the former arsenal and residence. The Castle and the island have stunning scenery as well as rich histories full of superstitions and ties to the American Revolution.

Bring plenty of water (and perhaps a snack or light lunch to nibble on during the Castle tour).

Please note, this tour involves kayaking, light hiking, and many stairs.

Storm King Adventure Tours provides kayak, paddle and lifejacket (all sanitized before and after tours) as well as instruction before you hit the water.

After our outdoor adventure, we can point you in the direction of a local spot to grab some lunch on your own or we can arrange additional activities.
